2009 NOCERCC National Convention

February 16- 19, 2009

Embassy Suites Hotel Albuquerque

Albuquerque, New Mexico

Join the NOCERCC community as the Archdiocese of Santa Fe welcomes our convention to Albuquerque.

Welcome the Word Planted in You

The ministry of the Word

in the ongoing formation of priests

As the Letter of James invites priests and all Christians to welcome the Word planted in us at baptism (1: 21), our gathering explores what is required for ongoing formation to support priests and prebyterates in ever more faithfully and effectively carrying out the teaching office.

Featured speakers, session leaders, and homilists include Archbishop Donald Wuerl; Dr. Sara Fairbanks, OP; Deacon Dr. Bill Ditewig; Jim Schellman; Dr. Mary Ann Boyarski; Archbishop Basil Schott, OFM; Archbishop Michael Sheehan; Dr. Dianne Bergant, CSA; Charlie Carrillo; John Carr; Rev. Jim Deiters, Rev. Larry Gillick, SJ; Rev. Dan Harris, CM; Michael Morton; Vicki Tufano; and Rev. Richard Vega.

We invite ongoing presbyteral formation directors and committee chairs and members from dioceses and religious communities; bishops; major superiors; faculty and administrators from seminaries and schools of theology; other clergy vocations, formation and personnel leaders; and anyone with an interest in our dialogue.  Take advantage of our group discount with two or more registrations from the same member diocese, community, or organization.
